Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Transferring data from paper formats to computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners
  • Entering data provided directly by customers with precision and attention to detail
  • Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without errors, utilizing your expertise in MS Office Word and Excel
  • Verifying data by comparing it with source documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Updating existing data to reflect changes and updates
  • Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested by team members or management
  • Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation and prevent loss
  • Sorting and organizing paperwork after data entry to maintain a clutter-free workspace and ensure data accessibility

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • Demonstrated experience as a data entry clerk, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fast typing ability, with knowledge of the touch typing system preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet tools, including MS Office Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Basic knowledge of databases and data management principles
  • Good command of English, both oral and written, with excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
