Job Summary
We're seeking a talented Senior Gear Engineer to support our crew across all disciplines, empowering them to multiply their efforts, enhance performance, and create high-quality games. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate with our Artwork, Layout, and Engineering groups to identify workflow inefficiencies, pain points, and troubles in our development process. You'll work closely with the team to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, implement the selected answer, and promote the adoption of the solution by the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify inefficiencies and elaborate areas for improvement across all disciplines
- Preserve, extend, and aid present development gear
- Build and guide custom asset pipelines
- Grow arenaflex's proprietary libraries, tools, and technologies across game engines and structures
- Collaborate with the team to generate candidate solutions, weigh tradeoffs, implement the selected answer, and promote the adoption of the solution by the team
Essential Qualifications
* A strong passion for empowering others to do their best work
- Enjoy working with the overall device lifecycle: identifying issues, comparing capacity answers, implementing tools, and evaluating their effectiveness
- Enjoy operating with custom standalone gear
- Enjoy growing gear that can be utilized by many game development disciplines
- Proficiency in C#, C++, Python, JavaScript, and Net Tech
- Experience with custom game engines, Unreal, or Unity
- Ability to work efficiently in a self-directed environment
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with custom game engines
- Knowledge of JavaScript and Net Tech
- Familiarity with required utility materials
