WordPress / WooCommerce Developer (Ongoing – Part-Time, Remote)
Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and experienced WordPress/WooCommerce developer to support and continuously improve our e-commerce website. This is an ongoing, part-time role (approx. 5–10 hours per week) for someone who can make updates quickly, keep the site running smoothly, and proactively improve performance and user experience. We are a fast-growing wellness company, so attention to detail and responsiveness are very important.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update WordPress & WooCommerce (plugins, themes, security)
- Troubleshoot website issues (checkout errors, payment issues, bugs)
- Improve website speed, performance, and UX
- Implement new features, plugins, and integrations
- Optimize conversion (checkout flow, product pages, etc.)
- Ensure site stability during updates (no downtime / no breaking things)
Skills
- Strong experience with WordPress + WooCommerce
- Experience with plugin conflicts, payment gateways, and troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and PHP
- Experience with site speed optimization (important)
- Ability to communicate clearly and respond quickly
- Reliable and detail-oriented
Nice to Have
- Experience with Wholesale Suite, B2B plugins, or subscription systems
- Experience with SEO optimization
- Experience with Zapier / integrations / AI
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour Benefits:
