What you can expect as a Complex Property Claims Adjuster:

• Verify facts of loss, analyze coverage, and adjust the entire claim, including collecting and reviewing all loss-related facts.
• Contact insureds to schedule property inspections and keep them informed throughout the claim process.
• Determine the method and extent of investigation, review investigative materials, and document all claims actions.
• Apply advanced negotiation skills to resolve disputed claims, attend mediations, and coordinate the appraisal process.
• Serve as a mentor to less experienced adjusters and assist with training and development.

What we are looking for as a Complex Property Claims Adjuster:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Property and Casualty Insurance. With strong knowledge of Florida insurance regulations and claims practices
• Maintain a Florida 6-20/7-20 License; ability to obtain Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia licenses within 90 days of hire
• Proficient in Microsoft programs
