Overview

Iovance Biotherapeutics is a growing biotechnology corporation with challenging and exciting opportunities for both junior and experienced professionals who are highly motivated and collaborative, with a passion to improve the lives of cancer patients around the globe.

Eligibility: Enrollment in a graduate degree program at a US institution. Candidate shall not be graduating sooner than September 2026.

Expected Start and Duration: The summer internship program will commence in May and last 12 weeks. Education Required: Currently pursuing Masters or PhD degrees in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Pharmacoeconomics, Epidemiology, Health services Research or related discipline. General Description: The HEOR summer intern will actively contribute to various HEOR projects supporting health economic modelling, HTA submissions, real-world evidence generation, literature searches and evidence synthesis. The intern will work with cross-functional teams and interact with key internal stakeholders as well as external vendors to improve the clinical value demonstrations and value propositions for lifileucel.

Responsibilities:

  • Support for HEOR projects – health economic modelling (e.g. indirect treatment comparisons), assist with literature reviews and evidence synthesis; cost effectiveness and budget impact analyses.
  • Interpretation and communication of quantitative and qualitative findings to internal and external audiences.
  • Investigation of optimal HEOR methodologies for long-term economic evaluation of lifileucel.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must reside in USA. Execution of tasks and responsibilities will be on a remote basis through candidate’s virtual office space.

Other Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong academic record (with a GPA > 3.2) with a record of core HEOR foundational course work and/or research methodology training.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and succinctly via email, Teams, and Zoom.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience and competency in using MSOffice skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Statistical analysis skills in R, STATA, SAS or Microsoft Visual Studio C++.

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is listed. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of the role, job duties/requirements, and relevant education, experience and skills.
