The company operates within the telecommunications infrastructure sector and is based in Virginia (USA). Position Overview This role is responsible for producing accurate CAD drawings and technical documentation for fiber optic, Outside Plant (OSP), and wireless network projects, ensuring full compliance with client requirements and industry standards. Key Responsibilities -Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings for telecommunications projects, including fiber optic, OSP/ISP, and wireless systems -Develop fiber route maps, splice diagrams, and construction drawings -Interpret engineering notes, field data, and redline markups to produce final design documents -Prepare permit drawings and as-built documentation -Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure design accuracy -Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with internal, client, and industry specifications -Update, organize, and manage design files within internal project systems -Support make-ready engineering, pole attachment, and utility coordination drawings ️ Required Skills & Qualifications -Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) -Previous experience in the telecommunications industry (mandatory) -Good English proficiency (B2 level or higher) -Experience in telecommunications design, including fiber, OSP/ISP, or wireless projects -Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure layouts -Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, schematics, and specifications High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills ⭐ Preferred Qualifications -Experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, or Vetro FiberMap -Knowledge of fiber design standards (FTTH, backbone, and distribution networks) -Familiarity with utility permitting and right-of-way requirements -Experience supporting OSP engineering or fiber deployment projects #SolvoGlobal #LI-PROMOTED #LI-Remote We are Hiring: Telecommunications CAD Designer (Fiber & OSP) Mxico u007C Per u007C Argentina u007C Guatemala u007C Honduras u007C Brasil u007C Kenya u007C Colombia ⏰ Work Schedule Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST) Must be flexible to work overtime as needed
