Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team and play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company's databases. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for collecting and entering data into relevant databases, identifying and correcting errors, and collaborating with employees and customers to ensure seamless communication. Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Liaising with employees and customers to collect information and update our databases in a timely and accurate manner
  • Capturing data into relevant databases, identifying and correcting errors, and bringing them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary
  • Gathering reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent data and organizing it in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering information into relevant databases
  • Ensuring data is backed up and stored in an organized manner to optimize retrieval
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered and handling additional duties from time to time

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, with the ability to create accurate spreadsheets and reports
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
  • Proficient touch typing skills, with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with data entry software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
