Employer Service Centre Agent

WorkSafeBC is dedicated to promoting safe and healthy workplaces across British Columbia. They are seeking Employer Service Centre Agents to provide exceptional customer service by assisting employers with insurance coverage inquiries, registrations, and account maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming phone inquiries regarding employer assessments, account compliance, financial transactions, and WorkSafeBC's Online services
  • Collect required financial information from clients for the employer account, which may require placing phone calls to employers
  • Communicate via email to new employers and e-business agents who have requested assistance for online account services
  • Investigate employer contact information for returned mail and update contact information on employer accounts
  • Consistently model the appropriate level of organizational behaviours expected of all WorkSafeBC employees: responsive, respectful, fair, collaborative, accountable, and forward thinking

Skills

  • Experience providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to handle incoming phone inquiries
  • Good typing skills
  • Ability to apply correct English language skills, grammar, and spelling
  • Ability to accurately record and enter data
  • Consent to a criminal record check
  • Confirm you're legally entitled to work in Canada
