Paid Social Creative Strategist (Meta-Focused, D2C E-commerce)

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a performance-driven Paid Social Creative Strategist with a strong focus on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) to develop, test, and iterate high-performing creatives for D2C e-commerce brands. This role goes beyond execution - you will be expected to interpret performance data, generate creative insights, and actively contribute to ongoing creative optimisation and strategy. You’ll work closely with media buyers, UGC creators, and internal teams, operating within established systems and workflows. Key Responsibilities: Creative Development & Execution
  • Develop and produce performance-led paid social creatives tailored for Meta platforms
  • Create static, video, and hybrid ad formats using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and internal AI tools
  • Adapt and iterate existing creative assets to improve performance and extend lifecycle
  • Ensure all creatives align with brand guidelines while maintaining a strong direct-response focus
Creative Strategy & Optimisation
  • Analyse creative performance data (e.g. CTR, hook rate, thumbstop rate, CVR) to identify winning patterns and areas for improvement
  • Translate performance insights into new creative concepts and testing angles
  • Continuously iterate on hooks, messaging, formats, and offers to drive improved results
  • Collaborate with media buyers to align creative strategy with campaign performance goals
UGC Creator Management & Briefing
  • Develop clear, performance-oriented briefs for UGC creators
  • Guide creators on hooks, messaging, structure, and angles based on data insights
  • Review and provide feedback on UGC content to ensure it meets performance standards
  • Identify opportunities to scale winning UGC concepts
Collaboration & Strategic Contribution
  • Work closely with paid media and strategy teams to align creative output with campaign objectives
  • Contribute to weekly performance and creative strategy discussions
  • Share insights and learnings to improve overall creative effectiveness across accounts
Process Adherence & Improvement
  • Operate within internal structures, workflows, and SOPs
  • Maintain organised asset libraries, naming conventions, and version control
  • Suggest improvements to creative processes, testing frameworks, and workflows

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of proven experience in paid social creative for D2C e-commerce brands (non-negotiable).
  • Strong understanding of Meta ad creatives and what drives performance
  • Proven ability to create and iterate high-performing direct-response creatives
  • Experience interpreting performance data and turning it into actionable creative insights
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Experience working with or briefing UGC creators
  • Familiarity with AI tools for creative production (e.g. scripting, editing, ideation)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple creative tests simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑driven approach.
  • Knowledge of creative testing frameworks (e.g. hooks, angles, iterations)
  • Video editing and motion design skills
  • Understanding of D2C funnels and customer psychology
