UI/UX Designer
What you'll be doing
- Solving complex user problems through user interface design, creating mockups and prototypes (low-and high-fidelity), as well as documenting interaction patterns for product UI with a focus on mobile experiences.
- Create User Personas, User Flows and User Journeys.
- Solutionize concepts to Wireframes, Interactive Prototypes and Visual Designs.
- Conduct user research, competitor analysis and Interpret data and qualitative feedback.
- Build & maintain a Design System to ensure consistency across multiple platforms.
- Communicate effectively in a cross-functional product development team and present ideas and designs effectively.
- Ensure high-performant and responsive web applications and websites.
Skills & Qualities were looking for
Hard Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in software product design. Working on consumer products would be an additional advantage.
- Portfolio to showcase your past work (professional or personal) and process.
- Ability to work with existing design systems and style language.
- Up-to-date knowledge of web and mobile design & interface guidelines.
- Proficient with visual Design and micro animation skill to be able to make cutting edge experiences.
- Good to have proficiency in Design tools (Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.)
Soft Skills
- Thoughtful problem-solving: We expect you to solve problems. Solving starts with a clear and accurate understanding of the context. You can decompose tricky problems and work towards a clean solution, by yourself or with teammates. You're comfortable asking for help when you get stuck.
- Navigating ambiguity in design: You can translate high-level designs into production-ready UI. Given clear requirements, you are comfortable making judgment calls on tradeoffs and edge cases in the user experience on your own. You don't need to see every interaction mocked out ahead of time, but you actively partner with developers to suss out the details when the requirements are unclear.
- Pragmatic and business-oriented: You care about the business impact of what you're building, and you prioritize projects accordingly. You're not just going after cool stuff you understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
- The right attitude toward a sense of urgency, risk, and ambiguity that comes naturally with working at an early-stage startup.
- Clear communication skills so you can easily convey your thoughts, opinions, and feelings to customers and teammates.
- Comfortable working in a fluid, growing organization with minimal supervision.

What is FeedBank's interview process?
Each candidate will have ~ 5 interview rounds, namely:

- A screening interview to understand your background and motivation to join us.
- Technical interview.
- Small take-home case study - typically due in 48 hrs.
- Product, Design thinking & HR round with founders.
