Our Open Connect platform is a sophisticated system that includes:
- Cloud microservices that customers interact with directly after pressing the 'Play' button
- Systems for ensuring successful and resilient streaming
- Services critical to cloud video game delivery
- Load-balancing algorithms for optimizing hardware utilization
Challenging Questions and Innovative Solutions
We're constantly seeking answers to complex questions like:
- How can we design our systems to react to failure, internet traffic shifts, and real-time adjustments?
- How do we steer traffic for live streaming over the backbone?
- What is the optimal way to process petabytes of content to improve the viewer experience?
- How can we design our streaming hardware based on customer behavior?
- How do we choose the best server for every cloud game session?
