Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk & Online Chat Assistant, you'll play a critical role in supporting the development and maintenance of data-driven solutions, as well as providing exceptional customer service through online chat support. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining data pipelines, dashboards, and reports to support business operations and decision-making
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Monitoring and Business Analysts, to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions
• Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and data architecture to support business growth and innovation
• Utilizing data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful visualizations using Power BI
• Automating existing business processes and improving exception-based reporting
• Partnering with IT and business stakeholders to discover, analyze, and integrate new data sources (data mining)
• Evaluating large datasets to identify relevant patterns and provide actionable insights
• Validating data for accuracy and resolving discrepancies
• Researching and remediating data errors
• Participating in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & methods
• Examining and validating metrics to ensure effectiveness and providing recommendations to team leaders on areas for improvement

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 2+ years of experience in comprehensive data analysis, with a strong focus on data visualization and storytelling
• Proficiency in Power BI, including experience with Dimensions, Solutions, Filters, Computed Fields, makeovers, parameters, conditional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc.
• Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, PowerBI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations
• Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures
• Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets
• Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query
• Familiarity with Smartsheets

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

• Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and services
• Experience with agile project management methodologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
