Job Responsibilities:

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients and customers, including greeting them, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Processing prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications, and ensuring accuracy and quality control
  • Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment, including restocking shelves, cleaning equipment, and disposing of hazardous waste
  • Assisting with inventory management, including receiving and stocking shipments, and performing cycle counts
  • Processing returns, exchanges, and refunds, and handling customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines when handling patient information
  • Participating in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations
  • Collaborating with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare, business)

  • 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy or retail environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with accuracy and efficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

* 6 months of experience in a retail environment

  • Previous experience working with arenaflex or a similar company
  • Strong numerical skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software and systems
  • PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification through our assigned PTCB training program
