Responsibilities:

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Processing prescriptions, including entering patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and verifying accuracy
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information, medication lists, and inventory levels
  • Registering sales, processing voids, returns, and exchanges, and handling customer transactions
  • Assisting with inventory management, including receiving and stocking shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Director or Senior Supervisor

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., pharmacy, healthcare, business)

  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or healthcare environment, preferably in a pharmacy setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain accurate records and process prescriptions efficiently
  • Proficiency in data entry and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and pharmacy software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues and improve processes

Preferred Qualifications:

* PTCB certification or willingness to obtain

  • Experience with pharmacy software and inventory management systems
  • Strong numerical skills, with the ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh prescriptions
  • Familiarity with store stock control and inventory management
  • Previous experience working with Walgreens or a similar retail pharmacy environment
