Dispatcher
PV Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is a dynamic company in the heating, cooling, and plumbing industry, seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatch Coordinator. This role is essential for ensuring efficient routing of field technicians and providing support to customers throughout service operations.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch technicians based on location, skills, and availability for efficient scheduling
- Reschedule as needed and provide real-time ETAs
- Handle calls and emails with professionalism and empathy
- Manage daily emails and admin tasks promptly
- Arrange part deliveries and manage purchase orders
- Create and close out work orders with accurate documentation
- Assist with calls during peak times
- Coordinate with our CSR team to plan daily call volumes
Skills
- Must be comfortable working with scheduling/dispatch software and CRM systems
- Must be able to keep up and thrive in a fast-paced office environment
- Previous experience in dispatch, scheduling, or logistics (HVAC/plumbing industry preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Proficient with computers and the following programs: Service Titan, Microsoft Office, and general office technology
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in dispatch, scheduling, or logistics (HVAC/plumbing industry preferred)
