Loan Setup Analyst
SoFi is a next-generation financial services company and national bank focused on changing personal finance. The Loan Setup Analyst III will manage appraisal orders and ensure compliance with TILA/RESPA disclosure laws while supporting the internal loan team.
Responsibilities
- Enforce Lock Desk policy (Loan Setup is under the Lock Desk umbrella)
- Assist the company’s internal partners with loan re-disclosure, FHA/VA case number transfers, credit card refund/charge requests, MAVENT fails, and file escalations
- Work the assigned pipelines for quick file milestone movement
- Contact FHA and VA to process applicable underwriting conditions associated with the loan file
- Monitor various shared email in-boxes and perform work within SLA to include appraisal orders, disclosing to borrowers, advertising loans, etc
- Ensure the accuracy of fees for outbound disclosures
- Review pass/fail logic on applicable files to ensure compliance accuracy
- Monitor robotics outcome reports and scrub loans that fail, to queue back up for automation or work manually
Skills
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Ability to work quickly, accurately, and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working under a high level of confidentiality
- Able to work an assigned pipeline of FHA/VA loan products
- Detail-oriented and strong time management/organizational skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- A four-year college business degree or other related field
