Technical Engineer
AMETEK is a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions. The Associate Technical Engineer will perform engineering calculations and evaluations while providing technical support to customers and company personnel.
Responsibilities
- Perform heat transfer, fluid flow, and mechanical calculations to support the design of company’s products
- Perform design reviews for engineered products to assure that design intent and design optimization is achieved
- Receive in-bound and make out-bound customer calls to evaluate projects, provide technical support, address customer questions, and discover sales opportunities
- Produce engineering reports, data sheets, memos, and specifications related to any and all of the above
Skills
- BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or similar
- Ability to perform engineering calculations in Matlab, MathCAD, Excel or other software
- Domestic and International travel will be required
- 0-2 years experience preferred
