Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers. If you're a detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual with a passion for data entry, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers
  • Entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times
  • Navigating efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
  • Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines
  • Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
  • Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements
  • Performing quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
  • Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
  • Alerting management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
  • Providing recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate

Requirements

To be a successful Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role
  • Strong data entry/typing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Familiarity with imaging software and data entry systems

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a healthcare or insurance-related field

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems
  • Certification in data entry or a related field
  • Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) or other healthcare software systems
