Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Gathering reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent data, correcting errors, and organizing the information in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering/updating information into relevant databases
  • Ensuring data is backed up and stored in a secure and organized manner
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered
  • Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval
  • Handling additional duties from time to time, as required

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, with the ability to create accurate spreadsheets and reports
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
  • Proficient touch typing skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors
