As a Data Entry Associate at blithequark, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our data management specialists to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our data.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Associate at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering, organizing, and preparing source documents for data entry into our system database.
  • Reviewing data for discrepancies, missing pages, or information and resolving discrepancies using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
  • Entering both alphabetic and numeric data from source documents into the proper system database.
  • Reviewing data entered against the original source documents for accuracy and correcting any data entry errors or duplications.
  • Following data program security practices and procedures at all times.
  • Routinely securing information by completing database backup daily.
  • Performing other varied clerical duties such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as required.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information at all times and in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 6 months related experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Experience in a medical office is preferred but not required.
  • Must be tech-savvy and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
