Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex software applications for enhancements and new products under minimal supervision.
• Responsible for complex idea design throughout the entire development life cycle.
• Prepare and conduct systems programming tests requiring interfacing and software assessments.
• Coach others in less senior positions and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
• File numerous software program applications with flowcharts, visualizations, and diagrams to ensure all users have a full understanding via the improvement cycle.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's Diploma in Laptop Technology, Engineering, or Information Systems or an associated area, and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
• Three to four years of qualifying work experience in data generation or an engineering environment.
• A related superior degree may also offset the experience requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills and experience will be considered a plus:

• Experience building end-to-end solutions on cloud systems like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with supply control gear like Git, as well as expertise in using ADO.
• Backend Engineers: Experience in development using Java or Springbok.
• Frontend Engineers: Experience in development using React JS or Angular JS.
• Backend Engineers: Ability in development writing interfaces, including API JSON or Soap and Webservices.
• Comfort with database principles and experience writing SQL in a relational database such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
