Mechanical Integrity Inspector - New England

HCG Associates specializes in Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management consulting. HCG supports our clients in the areas of anhydrous ammonia refrigeration, including process safety, mechanical integrity, engineering, and all EHS regulatory matters. With offices in Taunton, Massachusetts, Newport News, Virginia, Houston, Texas, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Integrity Inspector to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Mechanical Integrity inspections at industrial sites across the New England region.
  • Support compliance with EPA, OSHA, and IIAR standards
  • Deliver insight-rich reports that drive safer operations
Spend up to 3 weeks/month exploring diverse facilities—each one an opportunity to deepen your understanding of industrial refrigeration. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 5+ years experience with ammonia refrigeration systems
  • Familiar with IIAR Codes and Standards
  • Familiar with OSHA 1910.119 Process
  • Ability to read and verify P&ID's
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft, Excel, Word, and web-based programs
  • Ability to travel 50% throughout the New England region
